This position leads the development of marketing strategies to drive measurable growth for the Joint Commission Enterprise among key Health Care Systems, and their relevant Enterprise products and services.
Key responsibilities include strategic marketing planning such as cultivating product positioning and leveraging customer insights to build effective marketing programs, building annual marketing plans that align to goals, developing and producing buyer enablement content in various forms (i.e., print, digital and video), and directing the implementation of digital campaigns in collaboration with internal marketing partners (Marketing Operations and Website teams). The Associate Director will analyze results and draw actionable insights to improve performance and share plan progress with executive-level stakeholders throughout the Enterprise.
Additional responsibilities include gathering and sharing competitive intelligence; developing annual marketing budgets and monitoring spend, and promotional planning/writing to maximize awareness of and revenues for the segment’s relevant products/services. The Associate Director will also supervise outside vendors to develop and execute campaigns or content-related projects.
Qualifications: 1. Minimum 10 years of marketing experience within healthcare or other comparably complex B2B industry, with responsibility for developing and managing cost center budgets and proven performance in strategic marketing planning, crafting marketing plans, developing multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, web-based, email) and creating executive-level sales enablement/buyer enablement content. Minimum of 6 years of marketing experience in a management role, preferably with 5 years of marketing experience with healthcare providers. 2. Master’s degree in Marketing or Marketing-related concentration a plus. 3. The organizational ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects with tight deadlines simultaneously. 4. A team-oriented approach to completing projects and strong interpersonal, negotiation, consensus-building and creative skills. 5. Ability to direct and manage both internal partners and external vendors to ensure project completion within timeframes and budget. 6. Familiarity with marketing automation systems, such as Marketo and how these systems align with CRM platforms (i.e., Salesforce) ideal. 7. Well-developed analytical skills for assessing and evaluating situations that involve project planning, financial or other analytical analysis, and/or problem solving. 8. Excellent oral and written communications skills necessary to produce successful proposals, reports, marketing collateral and presentations, including a high level of creativity to create fresh and compelling strategic marketing campaigns. 9. Effective public speaking and personal selling skills. 10. Ability to analyze financial and business environmental considerations affecting Joint Commission products and services. 11. Ability to travel up to 15%, as needed.
