Gannon University invites applications for the position of Marketing and Creative Specialist. Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, the successful candidate will provide development, implementation and management of all elements comprised within targeted, integrated marketing and communications campaigns, with a specific focus in graphic design and execution through integrated marketing platforms. This position is responsible for generating concepts and ideas, develop key messaging and graphic design, and actively lead integrated marketing and communications strategy for recruitment, online programs, academic programs and publications while collaborating with necessary department members to execute appropriate web, print and multimedia efforts that support University branding, program visibility and student recruitment. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment, working independently as well as with members of a cross-functional team to create and managing the artistic vision of the Gannon University brand and global marketing initiatives. The position comes with creative freedom and the opportunity to create compelling work across multi-faceted digital platforms. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication arts, integrated marketing and communications, advertising, digital media, design or a related multimedia field. Must have a minimum of three-to-five years of related experience; with an emphasis on graphic and web design, specializing in technology-assisted communications, advertising and marketing. Experience in graphic design is needed. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator required.
