With a focus on our Consumer Engagement Engine, this position elicits, analyzes, and documents business and technical needs of strategic programs / projects; projects will involve several business areas with scope of medium to large complexity, ambiguity, urgency, risk, and technical sophistication. This position will serve as the lead for all or a majority of the analysis efforts of assigned programs / projects; coordinating the work of other business system analysts as needed and will act as a liaison, facilitating and communicating among several business and stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: Supports medium to large complex projects involving ambiguity and risk encompassing multiple cross-functional business areas Engages with business and technology stakeholders to understand comprehensive needs Leads needs / impact analysis efforts while engaging with engagement engine teams Analyzes business problems and makes recommendations for creative solutions Facilitates, prioritizes, and proposes business process re-designs to maximize process results Embraces change and provides encouragement to guide others through change; manages conflict Fosters relationships across multiple business and technology areas Increases business acumen and awareness of best practices to continuously improve business capabilities Proficient at right-sizing the message to the audience Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be someone who may have a technology background with some marketing tools experience.Bachelor degree in business, technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5+ years of consumer marketing operations experience 2+ years business consultant experience (i.e. liaison between marketing and IT) 2+ years marketing database experience Hands-on or leadership experience with any combination of the following: IBM Unica software suite such as Campaign and Interact (or comparable application), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse Must be proficient in the creation and execution of SQL/ Oracle queries Ability to collaborate with team members to meet project related goals Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to understand complex business problems quickly Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work with ambiguity and confidentiality Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Must have the ability to recognize opportunities/gaps and have the confidence to push through to resolution Must be comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders Must be able to make recommendations, analyze and provide input to processes to support increased efficiencies, economies and operational best practice Ability to articulate business needs into technical requirements Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of digital marketing experience 3+ years of Healthcare experience Working knowledge of web servicesCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
