The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.
The Senior Manager, Digital Strategy will lead digital strategy for SCCA, to include the continued evolution of an online site portfolio using the latest ideas and development strategies in web technology to provide a world-class online experience.
As a member of the SCCA Marketing and Communications team, the senior manager will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the role of the web within an overall marketing strategy designed to advance the goals and reputation of the organization. This position will oversee Digital, Web, Social channels and will have strategic technical and editorial responsibility for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance\u2019s web properties and other online efforts and will report to the director, marketing/communications.
The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance was incorporated in 1998 as a separate, jointly governed non-profit that included the cancer programs of three partners. Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is a cancer treatment center that unites doctors from Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, University of Washington Medical Center, and Seattle Children’s. The purpose of this organization is to provide state-of the-art patient and family centered care; support the conduct of cancer clinical research and education; enhance access to improved cancer interventions; and advance the standard of cancer care regionally and beyond. The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Northwest, and according to the National Cancer Data Base, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance patients in general have better survival rates than patients treated at other cancer treatment centers.
