You will be responsible for effectively generating awareness and interest in our core industries and initiatives by leading our marketing communication function of industry marketers. You will be responsible for defining, identifying and addressing Marketing Communications objectives based on our marketing strategies. You will help the team build messaging and customer insights that support our global market position and capabilities. The Marketing Communications' team develops and implements marketing communications & digital campaign tactics that represent the depth and breadth of our product, solution and industry offerings.
You will be a marketing evangelist internally and a brand ambassador externally. You will be a leader and a do'er – a critical thinker and a positive influence. You will lead, mentor and coach marketing professionals to ensure they have the skills needed to deliver great results today and in the future.

Requires an in-depth understanding and experience generating customer and business insights.
Requires knowledge of marketing communications & digital including strategies, standards and activities.
Ability to identify and develop positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates Rockwell Automation as the leader in industrial automation.
Demonstrated skills in project management and insight messaging.
Supports our strategy and programs that create interest for Rockwell Automation products and solutions across key industries and initiatives.
Leads the industry marketing communications team and provides expertise and guidance on growth opportunities across the organization.
Experience with market intelligence data. Understanding of our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria.
Ensures that projects and deliverables are subject to measurement/metrics. Understanding of analytics.
Understanding of SEO, SEM, paid and organic social media, display advertising, marketing automation, etc.
Participates in campaign planning discussions and implements and executes on marketing communications deliverables that appropriately target customers' buying behaviors and needs and supports our industries and initiatives.
Adherence to branding guidelines and standards while developing specific communications strategies.
Manage development, production and distribution of promotional & collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
Prior experience leading marketing teams and execution of marketing plans.
Prior experience managing and coaching diverse, multi-cultural teams.
Prior experience working with sales and marketing teams to broadcast our message to the market, across the organization, and our partner community
Cultivates effective networks of internal and external customers, suppliers, stakeholders and vendors /suppliers.
