Learning Ally seeks a Financial Development (FD) Manager possessing a solid background in individual giving and donor development experience and a strong sense of mission in empowering students to reach their full potential. The FD Manager will be an experienced and versatile donor relations professional with a passion for and interest in education, technology and the mission and goals of Learning Ally.
The Financial Development Manager is an important mid-level opportunity at a growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for donor development of individual contributors with specific accountability for the development and execution of Learning Ally's annual giving program and planned giving programs. The FD Manager will engage and cultivate existing annual donors to higher levels of participation. The successful candidate will manage planned gift expectancies and associated bequest administration, facilitating routine contact with known gift expectancies, trust officers, and attorneys executing donor estate plans as well as identifying, engaging and cultivating planned giving prospects.
Learning Ally is a national non-profit dedicated to helping students with print disabilities, including blindness, visual impairment and dyslexia through reading programs, community engagement and access to an extensive library of education focused audiobooks and other resources.
Successful candidates will have proven experience with major gift solicitation; developing donor strategies; major gift and planned giving prospect research; data applications, systems and analysis; and a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
