BASIC FUNCTION: The integrated marketing communications manager will develop strategies and implement branding and marketing campaigns with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Plastic Surgery Foundation and Plastic Surgery Practice Solutions. This role includes identifying the business goals for each program, target markets, the unique value the program provides, key messages and the best methods and vehicles to communicate those messages, and ensuring that success is measurable.
This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the organizational and interpersonal skills to manage multiple projects across the organization. The integrated marketing communications manager will collaborate with multiple stakeholders from a variety of departments, providing marketing and communications expertise to craft the right message for the right audiences. The integrated marketing communications manager also collaborates with graphic designers, videographers and other members of the communications team to ensure brand integrity and to deliver compelling campaigns.
Develop clearly defined strategic integrated marketing plans that support organizational and program goals.
Write engaging marketing copy (including scripts) under tight timelines.
Maintain/establish style and branding guidelines.
Manage multiple projects, establish project priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Craft messages and campaigns for a variety of media (social, print, broadcast).
Collaborate with a variety of departments and volunteers to establish strategy.
Think creatively and possess strong knowledge of the creative process.
Evaluate effectiveness of campaigns using analytics; test and monitor campaign metrics and recommend improvements.
Manage and mentor communications specialist.
Deliver presentations of strategies and results to internal and external stakeholders
Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
Microsoft Office, working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and mid-level HTML, social media.
OTHER DUTIES: Remain familiar with key topics and trends in health care and plastic surgery
Education and experience: Bachelor's degree (marketing or communications-related field of study) and minimum 5-7 years experience with organization or product brand; skills and experience in marketing strategy, writing, and working in a collaborative environment; and strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
At least three-five years of management experience required.
