Job Summary/Essential Job Functions: The Communications/Marketing Coordinator is responsible for digitalproduction, strategies and operations in support of the priorities of theOffice and units of Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs (AFSA).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates, develops, provides, and promotes digital media services in support of AFSA.
Designs, creates and updates Academic, Faculty and Student Affairs blogs, electronic newsletters, websites including wire frames.
Assures material complies with UTHSCmarketing and communication guidelines, as well as fair use, copyright, andaccessibility requirements.
Determine navigation and content (text,photos, video, multimedia) for website; edit, create and maintain content.
Provideshands-on support to faculty in the creation and deployment of digital media.
Monitor site for technical issues and workwith web developer and/or information technology to resolve issues.
Produces, edits, and publishes digital images, design page layouts and create print material.
Plans, and implement social media campaigns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
