Newport News Behavioral Health Center is a residential and acuteÂ program, for males and females ages 11-21, consist of a cognitive behavioral treatment model that encourages youth to safely explore thoughts and feelings related to the development of positive and desirable behavior within their homes and communities. Our programs have been designed to provide each individual resident quality mental health treatment in a safe therapeutic environment. It is the mission of Newport News Behavioral Health Center to promote recovery from the effects of abuse, addiction and other behavioral issues through specialized treatment interventions provided by a community of caring professionals.
Newport News Behavioral Health Center has an excellent career opportunity for aÂ Business Development/Marketing RepÂ to join our team of dedicated professionals. The position will be based in the southwest Virginia area.
Business Development/Marketing Representative develops relationships at all levels of their customer base in a manner that establishes the business development representative as a credible, reliable, and valued resource to the customer/referral source. He/She is knowledgeable of the various components and benefits of residential treatment and acute care programs; and is familiar with the numerous and sometimes complex tasks of facilitating and supporting referrals through the admissions process. The business development representative implements the facility business development plan to meet/exceed referral and admission goals in assigned geographic territory by focusing on developing and managing productive, long-term referral relationships with primary existing and new referral sources.Â Â This position involves daily travel, including overnight travel; meeting with referral sources (new and existing) including hospitals/ERâ€™s, crisis centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, other private providers, CSBâ€™s, schools, other community resources.
