Directs comprehensive marketing efforts of a college or division including, but not limited to, market research, branding, image building, media placement, outreach and recruiting. Develops and implements marketing campaigns, evaluates marketing plans, and develops strategies to respond to changing market conditions.
Oversees the marketing program for the college or division, including research, branding, strategy and creative development.
Provides strategic direction for implementation of branding and image building efforts for the college or division and analysis of brand positioning through market research.
May direct recruitment and outreach activities to community business leaders, professional associations, alumni, faculty, staff and students.
Plans, develops and implements new marketing campaigns and branding initiatives in response to changing market conditions.
Directs departmental operations, including management of staff, resources and budgets including tracking return on investment.
Serves as a resource to the Dean, faculty, and/or administration regarding successful marketing and recruitment practices.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
Bachelors and 5 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care and/or educational marketing.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing, branding, public relations or a related field required.
Knowledge of various techniques for successfully disseminating information to the public and targeted audiences through various channels of communication including: print, web, email, social media and other digital channels.
Experience in editing and analyzing the materials prepared by others to ensure they are consistent in communicating the college’s message.
Excellent communication, presentation, organization and computer skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Prior experience in a large complex higher education or health care organization preferred.
Management of staff and leadership skills preferred.
