As an Email Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in managing channel operations and in the execution of the 14B personalized emails sent each year. You will manage and execute guest audience selection within enterprise database and email service provider using SQL and vendor tools. Manage the data tables within the vendor tool and identify opportunities within the data for enhanced targeting, segmentation and triggered emails. Set-up event based triggered emails and build personalized guest emails by associating the right piece of dynamic content to the right guest segment. Design and execute email testing structure to ensure proper measurement of a/b tests. Route, QA, schedule and troubleshoot issues along the end to end deployment process. Maintain counts of key audience segments and monitor trends in the health of the list, identify opportunities, and potential data quality issues. Four plus years of experience in Email, Ecommerce, Direct Marketing, CRM, or Web Analytics related field
Ability to write SQL queriesExcellent problem solving, analytical skills, and understanding of query logic statements
Conceptual understanding of data warehousing basics/principles and how to leverage data in driving decisions and action
Understanding of how websites and the internet works in regards to tracking/tagging, URLs, redirects, cookies, app linking and tracking, and web analytics
Ability to work through ambiguity
Experience working in Agile a plusAbility to read/write AMPscript a plus
