The position is responsible for the planning, implementation, control and completion of marketing and communications projects in the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) and reports to the Marketing Content Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the progress of many and often large marketing campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The position will share responsibility in the execution of the marketing plans and will evaluate the success of the campaigns in Marketing Cloud. The individual should understand crucial dates, milestones and deliverables, and constantly assess and mitigate risk. The candidate will meet project objectives, within established timeframes, within budget and with high quality. This position involves constant collaboration with stakeholders to ensure projects are executed and completed on time. The incumbent will be able to anticipate business needs, identify solutions and continually remain knowledgeable about the status of projects.
The individual will monitor the marketing print and mail budget as well as the overall marketing budget and work closely with the Budget and HR team to reconcile invoicing for marketing and communications projects. The incumbent will have strong relationships with the cross-functional teams, especially systems and operations within OAFA, and the print shop and mail house to ensure a smooth transition to project completion. The successful candidate will exhibit the ability to be proactive and keep a positive attitude to motivate project team members.
The candidate should have direct work experience in project and people management and be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects on different timelines with a collaborative focus. The individual will manage the moving parts in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including print and email communication, and ensure all print materials outside of the system are completed, printed and delivered on time. Marketing Cloud experience preferred. Critical thinking, time management, problem-solving, planning and organizing, strong communication and incredible attention to detail are crucial to the success of the position. This position may require some weekend and evening work.
